Comics Are Supposed To Be A Visual Medium, Right?

Siege2This is from the upcoming Marvel special issue, Wolverine: How Did You Get That Tiny Cowl Over Your Head, Anyway? And Wouldn’t It Flatten Out Your Mohawk? apparently. As much as I like the whole “releasing images without any information as a tease for upcoming comics” thing that Marvel borrowed from the one good thing about DC’s Countdown To Infinite Crisis, I’m unconvinced by these Siege teasers. I mean, if you’re a Wolverine fan, then I guess the one above might be exciting, but this one?

siege1This just in: In a future comic, Captain America will pout as someone opens the shit out’ve Iron Man’s suitcase.

Haven’t Wolverine and Dark Wolverine been
doing that same thing for so many issue
pre-Siege? How is this news? Even if you followed Wolverine because that’s what’s on the shelf when you take your break in the back room, it just looks like Wolverine will oce again disapprove of his ’son’s’ bad attitude and then they’ll fight.

At least with the suitcase, there’s a chance of someone weird opening it. Bucky? Sharon Carter? Nick Fury? Joe Momma?

Is… is that a thumb in the suitcase, just above the glowing gauntlet? How is the gauntlet on, anyway? Batteries? And if you look at the left hand gauntlet, it’s clear that Tony’s hand is like two inches wide at most.
