First, let’s look at what the kids of the pre-psychedelic years were wanting from their periodical advertisements:

HOLY SHIT YOU GUYS LOOK AT HIS ARM ON THE TOP RIGHT OF THAT AD. I don’t know why they didn’t just advertise this with “This Will Fuck Your Arm Up So That It Looks Like Plastic Man’s.” Anyone who complains about bodymods and suggests that it’s a new thing, this ad from thirty years ago can now officially be used as counter-argument.
